Sarah is a native Californian who’s always had a passion for caring for animals. From a young age she’d bring home feral kittens and stray puppies, look after the new births and clean stalls on her aunts 28-acre farm in Landcaster, and help her neighbor who bred Akita’s. The desire to work with animal never left, after moving to Georgia as a teenager Sarah had started volunteering with rescue groups through CCAC her senior year of high school and then entered her first veterinary clinic position. From there she’s spent over 20 years in the pet industry working with companion animals and a small time with horses, other farm animals and exotics. She resides in East Cobb with her husband, two children, as well as their dogs, cats, a guinea pig, and a betta fish who’ve been rescued throughout the years. In her spare time, she runs a photography business focusing on pet families and their bond. She loves to go hiking with her dogs when it’s not too hot out, reading curled up in a blanket with her cats, and watching Pixar movies with her kids. She’s always striving to broaden her knowledge; she has taken multiple pet care certification courses, completed all of UGA’s continued education for photography classes and is currently enrolled at Ashworth College for her Veterinary Assistant’s certification. Sarah’s excited to bring her experience to Peach Vet to serve the community and pets here.

Her favorite trip though has been to Australia, as she has gotten to see koalas, kangaroos, and wallabies.
